From time to time I go panty shopping for my wife. Usually I am quite happy with the choices I have made, BUT once in a while I get the new panties home and instantly regret what I have bought, usually because they don't really fit the profile of what I like (sheer... satin... lace... nylon, string bikinis and thongs).

Case in point. I was passing an outlet mall and stopped at the Jockey store (mistake for finding the above). After picking up some underwear for myself, a rack in the women's section caught my attention. In particular they had some microfiber and lace thongs and bikinis. I purchased them in white, black and tan, got them home and instantly regretted buying the tan ones. I just don't like tan panties... probably because there is little contrast between them and her skin color, thus they are not as visible and/or arousing.

Anyway, you'll never guess which ones my wife wears all the time!!! Yep the tan ones!

That's a funny story. I used to buy ALL of my wife's panties, and always fought the urge to buy colors. I was usually so horny thinking about the blowjobs I'd be getting that ALL the panties looked great. In the end, though, the bright white clingy jobs were the best, followed by the occasional pastel. Some combination of lycra and spandex (and maybe a little nylon) always got it done for me; smelled the best afterward, too.

When I first met my wife, all she had were tan panties that her mother had bought her. I hated them then, but I wish I could see in her any of that stuff now! Now that she's into her late 40s, she's decided to go completely cold, and only wears baggy cotton garbage.

LOL Douchebag... Are you sure your wife isn't doubling as mine??? Maybe she has a secret life ignoring both of our needs!

I should be nice actually given avter having received EXACTLY what I like best last weekend - a good pantysex session!

But generally speaking, my wife too has taken to the big cotton things about half the time in recent years and the other half of the time she switches between unsexy thongs and panties of the type that I wrote about at the begining of this thread. Rarely does she wear anything I find adorable, hot, or godforbid downright sexy!

If it's revealing, satin, small and sexy she seems to avoid it!

My theory is that there's an ongoing power struggle between she and I and that's her way of winning!

Sorry about your luck guys! I hate to hear about women who get so comfortable with their husbands/bf's that they don't feel the need to wear sexy things anymore. My husband buys alot of my panties and bras (among other things). He always buys things that are sexy and that he knows are comfortable for me to wear. He never buys anything in tan or beige, he hates those colors, and never buys cotton. Most of the time I like what he buys and enjoy wearing it for him, but once in awhile he will buy something I just hate! They usually end up getting "lost".
Now if I could just get him to buy more things in the stores instead of mostly on-line, things would be perfect. I love to watch him get turned on as he feels the things he picks out for me!

I'm obviously with your husband tan and beige, but cotton fits into the same category of totally unsexy!!!

As for buying things you hate from time to time, I don't doubt it... It's the law of numbers. As shown above in my post I have even bought things I hate!!!

I love the fact that you will wear what he wants. I don't understand why my wife has been so recuctant over the years, but more and more she is begining to come around!

I'll admit that part of her coming around is probably due to her own needs fulfillment. As I have aged, my sex drive isn't that of a 20 year old anymore, so I can just as easily hold out for what I want and she seems to be learning... Hmmmmmm, maybe I am finally winning the power strugle!

I hadn't thought of that before!

I do love to wear what he wants me to especially when it's something he's bought for me, and vice versa, he loves to wear what I want him to wear.
After all our main goal is to please each other and when we do it usually leads to some great sexcapades!
