I have always worn my own panties for surgery or a procedure such as this which I had without anesthesia. The medics only concern is that that they are not nylon panties. I have always worn cotton in 'theatre', or 'OR' if ypu prefer.

I think the patient is over reacting. He was probably put into a pair of disposable pants that just happened to be pink. If I were a juror I would laugh him out of court.
