Here's the deal: my wife has been on a diet recently and, in addiition to losing a dress size, or two, she has dropped a panty size. So, a while ago, she cleaned out her panty drawer to throw out all her larger sized panties. Fortunately, I was present and witnessed the event enjoying a major boner. Well I suppose it depends on whether you live in a state with "Community Property rights" or not. In one of those states, community property is based on equal shares of property which would be half of her panties are your property, thus which raises the question can you steal from yourself.

Also in many states and communities, once garbage is taken out to the curb, the owner has lost legal rights to privacy, etc. (at least that is the way some courts have ruled in the Bush and a few preceding administrations); therefore, would not be stealing to remove the panties from the garbage, just a reallocation of resources.

Thanks, pantymesser, for your very astute reply. I guess that I'm not guilty of stealing because she herself did discard her panties by placing the bags on top of trash cans I had carried to the street.
