Thongs are definitely a turn off for me. Sure, they make for a nice full butt thu clothing, but you can't beat a great VPL! I only wear bikini and hi-cut myself. My wife bought me a half dozen thongs, and I tossed them in the trash!

For someone with TWO posts under his belt, let me provide you a little insight here.....

I could care less if you dont like them or not, but please, dont refer to thongs in such a negative manner.

Just because YOU personally do not like them doesnt mean that others dont either. I LOVE thongs and wear them at least half of the time, if not more. They are most assuredly panties, and I can tell you I would MUCH rather wear a thong than an acre of silky material around my crotch. But that is just MY opinion, and I'm showing respect for those that do by saying it's everybody's choice.

So please, if you dont like them, that's fine. Just dont insult them. Show a little more respect for other people's interests, and don't shoot them down because of your own opinions.

As for thongs, my only observation is that people of a larger build, weather chubby or just built solidly, usually don't like thongs. They are underwear that is definetly marketed with skinny people in mind......

Amen yeti....I'm a big boy and love thongs...on my wife at least. I think I would look a bit silly in one. She has an incredible bubble butt and the thong makes it that much better. In fact, those and the tanga/boy shorts are my favorites on her. I really could care less if other people don't like them :)

No, no, you're fine! The question asked for everyone's opinion and you gave it, just as it asked. But what you didn't do was disrespect the opinion of the other side, which is what "klink" was doing.....

I see my question has raised various answers but mostly that thongs do nothing for the imagination. I am guessing that men like the thought of what is underneath and don't like to see it on full display. Speaking from a womens point of view I don't care for thongs. I do have some in my panty drawer but I never wear them. But I do have alot of girl friends who wear them all the time. They are just not for me.
