In my first marriage it took a while but when I finally asked while we were in bed if I could wear her panties she reluctantly allowed me. It lead to great sex probably because I was just that much more excited and willing to try anything she might like. It soon became a regular thing and expanded outside the bedroom.
The down side was the fear it would be used against me when she decided the marriage was over. It was not.

A lot of this topic is really helpful to me, so thank you all! A lot of it disturbs me too :p My wife and I don't "allow" each other to do things, although we realize there are consequences to our actions. We are both adults and do (mostly) what we want. The biggest issue I have with not talking to my wife about my panty fetish is my fear of her telling someone else. Not that she would do it to hurt me, but she has no sense of decorum in social situations, lol. :oops:

I love her because of it, too. I consider myself a "straight shooter/tough guy" but I am afraid when my wife is around my boss or other people because she says things that could be considered rude or mean, even though it would hurt her to know that it was taken that way. For her to talk about it in front of our friends would not be something I could handle. I am a manly man type, king of the castle and all. (Don't get me wrong, I don't boss her around beat her or the kids or any of that). That is the reason I have not shared some things about my childhood that are painful to me. I am hoping I can come to trust her with that stuff in the future.

Pantyguy, then you are lying to her. Honesty is the only means. I am not currently married but am engaged. I told her from the start. I am a manly man, biker, hunter, ex-military. I do not have the right to dictate to her. I fought for rights and to protect my rights, I still protect rights of others. I also realized when I started being serious with her I must be honest with her. I do not hide things from her and discuss anything she wishes to discuss. We both have thing we like and do not like.
