Why am I "GAY" for wearing panties?

Lately I've been going through a period in my life where I am starting to care less and less about what people think about me and my clothing choices, so I have been a little more relaxed about my panty wearing. I will just leave them out on my floor with the rest of my laundry, I dont cover up all the time, I will walk around outside with a cami and a bra. I dont over do it and rub it in, but I have just hit that point where I dont care, and I will do what makes me feel good.

Most people don't care, but I have been having some problems lately. It seems a lot of the folks that find out I wear panties, they're very next question is "ARE YOU GAY???"

Now, I know there are quite a few gay and bi curious men on here, and there is nothing wrong with that! The more the merrier. However, simply wearing panties and bras doesn't make you gay, it's a personal life choice. So why is it that people who aren't in the know just automatically assume that crossdressing=gay?

There isn't an answer here, its purely a hypothetical question. I just get really frustrated having to explain twenty times a day that no, i am not gay, and yes, i wear panties. Im getting sick of it! Why does this world have to be so closed minded?

Gay , Is If You ''Like'' Other Men , It has nothing to do with you wearing panties etc , Its only clothing! , who should care!?

The reason I wear panties is because they are much more comfy than mens underwear , I dont know about your self..

What and who you are (gay or straight) is your business and you don't have anything to prove to ANYONE and that includes G/Fs and wives.

yetigonecrazy, Just because you like wearing lingerie does not make you gay. Been wearing lingerie WITH the wife for some 25 years now. I just cannot wear mens underwear anymore. Womens undies just feel and wear so much better! Nothing like silk covering my ass and balls! Do not concern yourself with being gay just because you like wearing panties/lingerie. There are more guys out there than u can shake a stick at out ther that would love to be in our shoes! Wear more panties!

I'll give you credit for going "public" but you have to understand that the average person isn't going to "get it". It really shows that a lot of people aren't aware of the many dimensions of sex. For your own safety I'd be careful about who you share your lifestyle with.

Well I can tell you certain cultures frown upon it. I dated a girl from the caribbean and she found out and said it made her sick. I got accused of being gay when at 40 years old there was no evidence of it ever in my past. People want to define you. No matter how I explained she would not have it. I told her it was a fetish from way back. Now I am scared to show women that I have the fetish. People are very emotionally destructive. I knew a couple girls I dated got into it with me but most don't like it. If you are screwing a man that is different but panties does not make you gay if you are into them. Be careful who you tell because it can have disasterous consequences.

Bingo. Some of the truest words I've ever heard! People are always in a rush to judge and discriminate against you, wearing panties just gives them an outlet for that.

Like cracklewalk said, I really watch WHO i tell, but honestly other than a few choice jerks, most people could care less! I love it. Nothing beats wearing what you want, when you want.

as far as I know the only women who know about my prediliction for panties are my wife, her younger sister, and my wife's best friend Julie.

My family & friends would think I was some sort of freak if they knew I enjoyed wearing panties.
On the other hand my wife really loves me in panties & was very very happy when I shared my love of panties with her.
So pick your battles & make good choices is all I can say.
