This took an enormous amount of time to do, but every panty is now sorted by their fabric (polyester, silk, cotton, sheer/mesh, lace, etc). You can even search for panties that have TWO different fabrics. If you want to see all the cotton or silk panties, it's easy. If you want a panty that is lace in the front but sheer in the back, it's just as easy:

To stand out even more from the competition, every panty has been checked and rated for Visible Panty Line risk. A VPL risk of none or low means you can wear thin pants or a thin dress with little or no risk of VPL lines. Panties with a VPL risk of medium or high are best with jeans.

Neat site but the constant, unstoppable rotating photos are starting to give me a headache.

Ok, I hear you. I've heard that from a few people but I know that people only spend a few seconds on a web page. I wanted a technique that does not use Flash or involve a lot of clicking to see the front, sides, and back.

Please come back and have a look a little later. I have a technique that will pause the front view and pause the back the back view for a second.

Ok, my software is generating new animated GIFs right now and will update the site but it takes about an hour because there are 2000 of them. They now pause the front and back views for about a second.

When you click on the picture to get a better look and it opens a new window (I think) it should stop so the potential customer can check out the details and move on to the next if he/she wishes.

Clicking doesn't bother me at all. I like having that option.

I understand you think the high-version should not rotate but I wanted it to show all angles too. They rotate a lot slower, though (2.0 seconds per frame vs 0.39 seconds per frame for the thumbnail).

The high-res version has a filmstrip along the bottom which shows all 8 angles as well. Is that effective at all?

I have another web site that is PURELY experimental at www.JustPanties.ca

It's HIGHLY graphic and memory-intensive though. Broadband connections are highly recommended. I only created it as an experiment because it was easy. Let me know if you prefer that one instead.

Hi everyone. I'm now at the one-year anniversary of the site! It's doing well, and still growing. There are now over 8500 panties in stock with 2492 different kinds and colors.

The latest addition is a downloadable PDF catalog of every panty on the site with descriptions. See www.ChesterfieldSoftWe...alogs.html

The full-page catalog is HUGE (356 pages and 456 MB) but there are smaller ones available, broken down by category, style, or price range.

Here's a question for everyone: would you find a category of 'Best for men' useful? I'd like to make a selection of panties that are most suitable for wearing by men (you know; a little more room in the front, and maybe not a lot of lace).
