What would make a freshly worn pair of panties / shorts smell like alcohol?

I went bike riding with my 23 year old niece this weekend and we rode for at least 3 hours. We were both beat and got back to her house and both had a beer. indeed, instead of drinking liquid another way to introduce it to your body is to insert it into your rectum which absorbs it into your bloodstream.
