Did you ever own or wear any of those sexy "day of the week" panties? I remember that just looking at all the gorgeous colors with the day embroidered over the left thigh used to make me hard as a rock in my early teen years. All the old Sears and Monkey Wards catalogs ended up in my personal hidden stash when the new catalogs arrived.
God, how I love to talk with girls about these things!

| I love the vuntage days of the week panties. Nylon and acetate from back then was just AWESOME. I have a few sets of those in my collection. I look but don't touch. Love collecting panties from days gone by, especially Days of the Weeks! They ROCK.

Yes, they were special -- it seems there was white panties for Sunday, light blue for Monday, aqua-marine for Tuesday, perhaps pink for Wednesday, Yellow for Thursday, white again for Friday, but I remember shiney black acetate with a red embroidered Saturday. Haven't seen them for years, but the sweet memory never dies!

You know, I never got really excited about maxi pads. Had a girlfriend once who said she and her friends called them their "mouse mattress."
But as I go along I've developed more of a fondness for the pads. Perhaps because they are so distinctly feminine. And I love to think of the lady placing the pad into her panty crotch as she pulls the undies snugly up around herself. And now the "wings" add a whole new dimension to the viewing pleasure.
Well, girl, now you got me going... again!

Now back to the original topic, "day of the weeks."
I once dated a girl "briefly" pardon the pun-- who was a fine looker, though always a little unkempt in appearance. As we sat in the car in front of her dorm, I managed to rest my hand on her knee, and following in the finest male tradition, over the next few minutes as we talked, progressively inched further upher thigh. When I finally reached the promised land (I've heard it flows with milk, honey) I managed to push her skirt and slip up and aside to actually view her lavender panties, emblazened with the word "February." When she told me the pretty undies were part of a 12-pack she had bought for school wear, the relationship ended rather abruptly.

I never owned any of them and don't remember any of my friends having them. I guess it was one way to make sure people changed your underwear every day. Did they make these for guys also?
I like to color cordinate my outfits so I would not have bought them. They do sound nice, but very hard to keep the days and colors coordinated.

Aha -- same thing Cherry stated about the color coordination. Maybe the color thing's why the adorable panties didn't last.
The "dotw" panties fad dated back to about the same time as another bygone tease -- poodle skirts with acres of crenoline. Oh how they used to get to me, just because they accentuated what the girls wouldn't willingly let me see... And try as I might, the crenolines just didn't give up their secrets very often, even when jiving and swirling on the dance floor. And even when the girl sat down -- which I would have thought would present a fool's paradise for this anxious fool -- the lousy crenolines just stayed too close to home guarding the treasure from public display.
Tell me -- was your color-cordination thing a key, just to let us know what color was up close to you? If so, that's just one more tease you girls managed to get past me, cause I never would have guessed you were being so up-front and out in the open with it.
Now Cindy, you're right on with the boys underwear issue, though. Most of us never had a clue what week were in, let alone the day so even the February undies would have challenged us to our limits. At least that's where my hormones were driving me!
