Well beside our mothers telling us to be careful and wash ‘down there’, I think it was those damn ‘feminine sprays' that were popular for a while that made women feel we were constantly ‘unclean’.
I also understand that many males could not stand the smell of those sprays, and wanted to smell a natural woman. So I think women may have a difficult time accepting that musky smell we produce, is very attractive to males.

I would think that the terms, ‘nasty’ and ‘down there’ reflect fairly common parental euphemisms. While there may always be some exceptions; I don’t believe most parents in conversation with their youngsters use the words pussy, hole, snatch, or cunt etc..

I think any natural odourt other than from pish rapidly goes from the panties after a woman removes them, possibly in minutes.
'musky' odours or pussy 'scents' on panties are probably stale odours from fabric conditioners or bacterial decay in the gusset
