Use a photo program that lets you change the size of the photos. You will need to check elsewhere on this site to see what the maximum size allowed is, and then downsize your photos to that limit.

I use Xat-image to resize my photos when they are too big or to crop them to omit extraneous stuff that shows up on the original.
