:?: I seem to have as much of a fetish for buying panties as for wearing them and masturbating with them. I was in college before I got the nerve to buy my first pair of panties. (Stole several of them before that time.) I kept buying and otherwise acquiring panties for years up until I got married. Decided the wisest course of action at that time was to throw them out. (Wish I had them back now!) 10 years later, I was happily divorced and started rebuilding my collection. I now have well over 1,000 panties - many of them never worn and still on the hangers.

Cruising the lingerie department looking at all the latest panties is a great turn-on for me. Of course, I prefer to be wearing panties while I'm doing it and they always get soaked with pre-cum. In larger department stores, I typically buy off the sale rack, where you can sometimes get some great bargains. I also frequent Marshalls, TJMax, and Cross-dress For Less. They tend to have very good prices indeed and, in the quantities I buy, that becomes important. Many is the time I've come out of a store with a dozen or more panties. Either the clerks think I have a very lucky girlfriend or they know what I'm really doing with them.

Once I get home, I sometimes try on the new purchases although, maybe not all of them As I say, I have many pairs that I've never tried on - I bought them just because they were particularly cute or sexy or something. I usually buy panties in my size (6) but have sometimes bought smaller panties that I know I'll never get into just because I love the look of them.

Sometimes I'll find a particular pair I like and then go on a campaign to buy them in every available color. Some years back, Warners had a line called "Colors to Go" that came in about 8 or 10 different colors. I loved the sleek, stretchy feel of the panties (80% nylon - 20% spandex) and they were wonderful to wear but I also loved the colors. There were white, pastel pink & blue, stronger shades of blue, purple, yellow, black, etc. I searched for months for a pair of the yellow ones. I must have gone to every store in a 40 mile radius. It was a most enjoyable quest. I finally found them and bought a pair, but the joy was really in the hunt rather than the acquisition.

Anyone else like shopping as much as I do?

I do not have a buying fetish, but I do love to shop for panties. I look when I can. I espescially like the bikini style microfiber panties. Jockey no lines are quickly becoming my favorite. Seems like Jockey is gelling men and womens undies into one group. Jockey intimates, his and hers. Will keep shopping for panties for myself and the wife. She loves when I bring her home something elaborate. She really gets off on me finding us MATCHING undies. I get off with this also! Ya don't have to have a fetish to enjoy undies shopping!

I know I have the buying fetish. I like to go to straight lingerie stores with panties on and a loose pair of jeans and a fitted shirt. I try to look for stuff on the bottom racks and hope the cute employee is looking at my g-string.

Hey yes you are just like me, don't know if I buy that many panties but hey I can not ever take a trip to Wlmart without ever stoping by the lingerie department to see what type of sexy thongs and g-string they have hanging from the racks. I think what you have is an addiction to panties, and buying them...I should know as this sounds a lot like me....From the first time i tried on my younger sisters little nylon panties, to finally geting the courage to go and pretend to be buying them for my girlfriend.

I am afrid to say I too have a panty fetish. I think many girls do but they don't know it. It is an expensive habit but doesn't hurt anyone - just ya credit card! If I am questioned by the sales staff I just say I am having a sex party. That shuts them up!

Love to purchase panties and undergarments of all types. Used to get extremely nervous, much more comfortable now. Buying bras is usually when I get the most curious looks. One thing I haven't purchased are the nylons for each leg, love the lacy touches at the top. I'm curious if it's necessary to have the garter connections that attach to those thingies worn just above the waist ???

They have thigh-highs that have rubber lined tops so that you don't need the garter belt and suspenders.

I too have a panty buying fetish. I get as much a thrill buying them as i do wearing them, well......almost. I love it when the sales ladies tell me I have great taste in panties or that they wear these kind too. I always leave a wet spot in my panties when i buy them, and always wear panties when i do shop. I love to buy bras, pantyhose and even slips for myself. Some sales women give me dirty looks but most just smile (i want to think they know why i am buying them) but love it either way. I have over 600 panties and my stash is still growing.
Freeform is a brand of panty made by Bali, and i have over 100 pairs of them, so I can relate to finding that one special panty and wanting every color and even different sizes, but I have worn every panty I have bought and have "inititated" every pair too.

I think many of us panty lovers (or other fetishists) have a thing about not only liking panties but accumulating as many as possible. It's like an addiction as someone said above. For around 20 years I was compelled to buy panties and would do so over and over despite (beause of?) the huge amount of shame and humiliation it caused me. It felt like I was exposing my deepest, darkest secret publicly.

As a couple of panty lovers have said, shopping for panties is as much fun as wearing them. I agree. However, I am extremely bashful and self-conscious, and many times more so when it comes to panties and slips. If I am wearing panties or slips under my clothing I am constatly worried about someone finding out, no matter how carefully or fully I am dressed to hide the fact. I have always felt a great deal of humiliation and shame when shopping for panties and slips. and even need 3-4 beers in me to work up the nerve to just walk in the store.

However, more than anything it is a HUGE turn on for me. I always wear a very silky pair of panties and even a satin slip under my clothes when I shop. It isn't just a prelude to sex- it IS sex for me! :-) It's like I'm making my fetish known to all the ladies in the lingerie store. Cautiously peeking at women holding up panties or carefully looking over slips drives me wild. I try to shop either very early or late, when the shops are mostly empty because I get really embarrassed each time a new woman walks into the store or department. I feel that just my presence there is enough to announce my fetish to the world, as if I have a huge glowing sign on my forehead that shouts "panty fetish." I honsetly feel almost as if I were standing in the store in just a slip and panties.

After spending about 45 minutes browing thru and fondling racks of silky panties and slips I finally work up the nerve to bring my handful of panties and slips to the saleswoman. This is the hardest part for me, the moment of confession. It makes it exremely difficult if there are laides in line. Sometimes I get very peculiar looks, which only makes the embarrasment worse. It is an extremely intense moment when I hand her my purchases and watch her fondle and fold the silky panties and slips. By this point I have a nice wet spot in my panties and after my purchase, fly home to play with my new panties and slips.

Eventually I turned to ebay to find vintage lingeriie, perferring very specific brands and silky materials. It isn't as much fun, to be sure, but it's the only way I can get certan discontinued items. I've curtailed my panty and slip buying for now but have amassed a collection of 450 panties (all briefs and hpsters) and 200 slips so you could say I have a 'thing' about accumlating them! LOL When I was an early teen I used to fantasize about owning thousands and thousands of slips panties and bra- enough to fill three rooms. I doubt I'll make that goal but it's been fun trying! :-)
