At the end of last year, I found a stash of my panties that I had not seen for many years. When I saw them, I went through them and saw panties that I had no recollection of buying, but I knew that I must have done at some time in the past. I decided that I ought to go through the panties and see which of them were still wearable. There were hundreds of pairs, so, I decided that the easiest way of going through them was to take a different pair each day until I had worn them all. Some failed the moment I took them from the box because they were obviously too small or more usually the 'elastic' had perished. Some failed during the day for because the elastic gave way, but apart from the disappointment of losing a pair of panties, I was able to replace them with another pair from the stash and continue. Working my way through the panties, I have worn panties yesterday and today that I know are over 30 years old. They fit me as if I had bought them today and are they still in good condition. So, this made me wonder how many of us can fit into the same size of panties that we wore many years ago, and what is the oldest pair of panties that you have owned from new that are still wearable.

Good quality panties will last a long time. I have some Vanity Fairs that are about 12 years old.

I have some panties that are 14 years old. Lovely Italian made ones. The unfortunate thing is the spandex/lycra break down over time and then then is no elasticity. I don't have the heart to throw them out just yet.

I started cataloging my current collection and have over 550 pairs. I have another 100+ pairs in closet storage.

I pruned my collection a bit and gave a female friend of mine 50 pairs or so.

Not sure how old my oldest panties are, but they once were wife's which I remember her buying back in the early 90s, so close to 20 years old now. Still good for wearing and wanking in. They have old cumstains to prove it.

BTW a couple of the older panties are Olga blue colored, highcut briefs with lace waistbands. Do not know why wife discarded them, but they still wear very nicely and the elastic holds up well despite the stretching they have endured over the years from holding my equipment. Only thing is that one of them has a run in the front.
