It all depends on what you want to do with people who love panties. There are some kinky people out there. Just take care who you meet with.

I hope I am not offensive with this but SF bay folks even responding to this thread is hilarious to me. I was born out there in Contra Costa, but really don't know a whole lot about it except that you can pretty much be accepted no matter who you are. If you disagree, try moving to the SE. In my town, we have a large (relatively) gay/bi/whatever crowd because we are the largest city in ~100 mi. You would still be likely to get your ass kicked for wearing panties that showed above your jeans unless you kicked his ass first :p

I just ignored the SF area. They have NO concept of the south, just what the hollywood movie crackheads dreamed up during a drug high. You have to live here for years to understand.

I'm currently living in southwestern Missouri and I've not found wearing panties to be a problem here. I was shopping at a WalMart in Branson West recently and the only other person in the panty department was a guy who was obviously shopping for himself. I don't think people care as much as you think, even in the south.

The SF Bay Area is not a bad place to be despite how much more we pay for gas.
Just act like you know what you're doing and no one will bother you. And that rule works anywhere you are.
