Yep. That's the question. I'd like to put it to a poll, but this will probably be more interesting.
As for me, my panty fetish started at 16. While doing my laundry (nope, moms didn't do mine), I found some of her bikini panties, and for some reason, I thought of trying them on. The folks were away at a dinner date, so I had nothing to lose. I stripped off my clothes, and slipped on the panties. Instant hardon!
But since I couldn't go on wearing my mom's panties (yeah, you know), I ordered some panties from the JC Penny catalog right before the parents took a week long trip to Washington D.C.
Thankfully, my panties arrived before they got home. But my mom was puzzled though about how I got on the "Womens JC Penny mailing list". I just kind of shrugged it off and said I don't know. End of story there.
So what's your vote and maybe a story? I'm sure all us panty people would love to read about your preferences and exploits!

| When I was 13 I knew panties were more than just a curiosity for me. I spent the sumer at my aunts house and since I was alone during the day, except for the maid and I used the opportunity to explored her room. I discovered her lingerie drawers early on and spent the rest of the summer fascinated with her underwear. I tried to be very careful about it. I would carefully remove a panty or bra, play with it till my hearts content and then return it to it's proper place. Eventually I got careless and she found one of her thongs which I had taken the day before and hidden in my room. There were some interesting consequences to pay the rest of the sumer, and ever since then I was hooked. All during my teens I tried to figure out ways to obtain panties. The neighborhood clothes lines were not safe. I discovered the lingerie departments in clothing stores. At first I was too embarrassed to but my panties, so I lifted them. My heart would race from the moment I walked into the store until the second I made it safely to my room. Later I started buying them and used the opportunity to flirt with the female store clerks.

| I started very early in my life as my older sisters would dress me up when I was an infant. I remember at 6 that I was drawn to female/girls clothing, mostly silky panties and lingerie. This was way back in the 60"s. I have been hooked ever since I can remember. They made some real soliky material back then, I collect as much vintage panties and lingerie that I can. I am 45 now and I still need more silky panties. I will die loving them, ACETATE ROCKS. Nylon is very good too.

| The age ofabout 10. Use to go to a "poor kids" camp and it didn't make a difference what pair of "drawers" you got, they provided all clothes. I always picked pairs that I later found out to be "panties". Been hooked on them since. Was 10 when I found out "those are girls underwear"! From my sisters, her friends, and been lucky enough to have girl friends who think it's "kinda sexy" to swap. To this day, I feel more comfortable in a pair of "girls underwear" than any pair of underwear made for guys. The stickier the better! My last girl friend still sends me a pair every now and then, even tho we're no longer together, they only I request from her, it it be her sticky not some other dudes!

Probably when I was seven or eight years old. In my teens I thought I must be a real freak for loving panties.
