June 6, 1944 was 75 years ago. The Day our great countries and allies executed the largest invasion in History. D-DAY! To end Tyranny and keep our great lands free. Thank you to all those brave young Men who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I know its off topic from our usual conversations here but well worth noting.

Yes, it is well worth noting, because without those sacrifices, we most likely would not be enjoying sites like this today. Was a very important reminder. The invasion happened before I was born, but know that it has made a huge difference in my life compared to what might have been if those souls both killed and wounded had not sacrificed so much for so many.
