I and my wife both wear cotton panties primarily. I have a pair of lace ones that i wear when i want to dress up and feel sexy but don't have any nylon or silk ones. I do want to try them some time, but i have not gotten any yet

I have never found cotton panties that I enjoy wearing. Except for a couple of pair that were made from 'sea island cotton'. Those were exceptionally soft and silky feeling. I have never been able to find any more like them. I can't remember the manufacturer's name. So now I wear strictly nylon or satin.
