This happened last Summer, before I found this site but I'll share it anyway.

Every year I spend a week in Reno for Hot August Nights. I have a friend who lives there so I stay at his house and spend time with him and his family.
This past year was different: His parents, sister, her boyfriend their two kids and two big dogs all were there at the same time.

At 5:00 I heard an alarm from the family room go off. I laid in my sleeping bag and listened to the sound of zippers and low voices as people packed. The office window gives a view of the front yard and walkway so I raised the shade slightly and waited.
As the first rays of light began to recede the night, his sister walked out wearing the black track suit.
