I personally think the lady's lying. Just a way to make a buck for her maybe. Wouldn't you be too embarassed to make that claim on a national stage...?

I think most embarassing is that her picture is all over the internet as well as some video inderviews and while not obese she is quite a large woman and the style she is talking about are low rise and only go up to a size large.

Pan-T-Man,
Now why on earth did you have to throw racial slurs into this conversation? There are a lot more delicate ways of saying that you thought that the woman was either a black or hispanic woman, without saying it the way that you did. I am a white man, but I was married to a black woman and my children and grand-children are of black or mixed ethnicity, and I for one do not appreciate it when people of ANY COLOR use language like that. I would not allow my two step-sons, who are 100% black, to use the "N" word in my house. They called each other and their friends that all the time, but NOT in my home. We, as a nation, have been trying to rid ourselves of these racial slurs for many years, and it does not help that there are people out there that enjoy using them. I know it is not my place to slap anybody on the hand for what they want to think, but it is different when you put your thoughts to words, either spoken or written. You do not know how many members and guests here are of a minority background, so I think that you should try to watch you words in the future. Peta
