About me. I'm from south-central US, the Bible Belt. I was raised very conservative Christian. I always had a pretty strong feminine side, and there were nights I prayed to wake up as a woman. Yet, I was totally straight, like, totally. Not attracted to guys at all. I've had several experiences throughout life that have proven this to me, starting from the early days. So, after a lifetime of experience, I'm now in my lower 40s and I've pretty much figured out what I like and what I don't like. I was addicted, so next came ice silk briefs that are made in china and are in tiny sizes. I had to get 3x to fit, but OMG did they fit. I walked in, did a circuit, freaked out, and walked out. Mind you, I also suffer from social anxiety. I felt like a total creep.

See, walking by panties, to me (I know you can relate) is just like walking by racks and racks of NAKED WOMEN. The thought of actually fondling them, in public, in front of real women, horrified me.

But see, these stores were in close proximity to work. There was a high chance someone would be there that would recognize me, they were quite busy.

So I soldiered on, and put a plan together. I was going to go the next town over, where nobody would know me, and there were two stores I knew I'd feel comfortable in. One, a clothing store I've shopped at before, and another, a specialty sex shop. I thought I'd go to the sex shop first, but I actually felt comfortable enough just going to the store.

I felt like a vet at that point. A pro. I've done online shopping, I've shopped in brick and mortar. I went back online, knowing what size to get and what to look for, and got like 7-8 more pairs.

I now have over 20 pairs of women's panties. I've decided it's the only thing I want to wear under my clothes.

I'm not into cross dressing. I bought a pair of tights to see, and they did nothing for me. I just like the idea of having a beautiful girly pair of women's panties holding my junk. It's like, who would you rather have, Joe Boxers or hot chick? I'll take the hot chick, thanks!

I'll never go back to men's underwear. As soft as those ice silk briefs are, I don't know if I'll ever wear them either. I feel right. I feel natural. I feel more confident than ever, to be honest. I also feel more relaxed and at peace.

The first 8 pairs I got from the brick and mortar stores, the ones I knew would fit... I washed them, hung them up to dry, and just stood there. As I looked at them hanging, I felt a physical weight being lifted off of me. It was a powerful feeling. I felt like I had come home.

Side note:

If you're worried about what women might think, just don't. Women don't care, they just want a guy who's confident. If wearing panties gives you more swagger and makes you harder, most women are totally cool with that.

After I got back from my shopping trip, I confessed to my wife. She already knew I had some ordered, and I kept her in the loop through my journey, so she was prepared. She had me put on a show, she felt how soft they were, then we had the best sex we've had in years.

So, this has also improved my sex life. It's also made me care a lot more about my appearance, and how I'm presented. I've signed up for a gym, and I'm on a mission to get down to my ideal weight. I'm 6'0, 225lbs or so.

I'm also in therapy, mostly for the social anxiety, but also for a crappy upbringing that involved abuse. I told my therapist about this and I was like "What does this say about me? Am I gay? Am I trans? Or am I too straight for guy's underwear?" She said "It means you're healing."

So that's good enough for me.
