because my wife only wears nylon panties i cant answer this question,
can you tell by looking at a womans clothing on her backside what fabric her panties are? some are smooth and do not ripple some do . if they are cotton do they grip more and make the fabric not move. i hope i explained this right.

In my experiences, cotton hems seem to be 'crushed' easier than synthetic fibers thus producing less of a VPL sighting.

it is very hard to tell un less you get you actually get to see the panties but i belive your assumption is correct. if you pay very close attention to the way the outer material moves over the panties you can notice ,as you said, some slide nicely and some seem to grab.I belive that after much studying that nylon and satin panties allow the outer material to move freely while cotton seems to cling. I may be completely wrong ,this is only my opinion and I will continue to study as many women's asses as i can to try to figure this out

what we need to do is a study on this.lets sit at a mall and question all the females on what fabric their panties are with pics.as long as we are going to dream.... what about thongs where there is no panties on the skin?
if my wife wore both cotton and nylon i could take more of a guess but i think we are right so far.any one know the answer?
