TFF1882 - Planning Permission Denied

Cherry English was enjoying a quiet afternoon in her lounge, looking elegant in a short black dress, when the peace was shattered by the sound of miniature jackhammers. Confused, she got down on her hands and knees to investigate. Her jaw dropped. There, on her wood-effect flooring, was a crew of tiny, shrunken road workers, brazenly digging up her floor to lay a new tarmac road through her home. Cherry issued a clear command: "Stop immediately." But the tiny men, arrogant and focused, ignored her and kept digging.

Cherry’s shock turned to cold, hard rage. If they wanted to work on the floor, they would become part of it. She stood up, her black strappy high heels transforming into terrifying weapons of mass destruction. She brought her heel down hard, the sharp click on the floor signaling the end of the first worker. She stepped and twisted, grinding the crew into the wood they were trying to ruin.

But the boots were too impersonal. She wanted to feel the construction project crumble. She sat back on the sofa and unbuckled her heels, tossing them aside. Now barefoot, she stood again, pressing her soft, warm soles over the debris and the fleeing survivors, smothering them under her arches.

Finally, silence fell. One worker remained, freezing in terror. Cherry reached down, plucking him from the floor. She inspected him, a cruel smile playing on her lips. Since he was so determined to be in her house, she decided he could stay—inside her. She popped the tiny workman into her mouth, crunched down, and swallowed, ending the roadworks permanently.
